The L200 Website & Owners ClubMission Statement.
I started the Website as non-commercial users were beginning to buy these so called 'Life-style' vehicles as a viable alternative to estate cars and other mainstream 4x4 vehicles. I, like many others, found there was little or no support for them - People were having problems with insurance, dealing with the VAT situation, servicing grey imports, where to actually use them 'off-road' and where to buy parts & accessories.
I felt that as a non-commercial user I was getting a poor deal - most insurance companies said they wouldn't insure me as it was a commercial vehicle never mind what I intended to use it for.
THE OWNERS CLUB IS OPEN TO ALL OWNERS (Single, Club and Doublecab) - NOT JUST COMMERCIAL OWNERS.
As the Owners Club membership has grown we are now able to get discounts on accessories and insurance (Up to 15% off with
Adrian Flux.
I hope this 'Mission statement' will help draw more members to the Owners Club - At present Owners Club members get a membership card, a mug (When postage is paid for), a window sticker and a keyring.
We have regional representatives (see Members Only
area).
The
Members Only
area contains the regional contacts, the Enewsletters, lists of insurance companies that will deal with Non-Commercial users, service schedules and technical Specifications.
The Owners Club will use your membership fees to pay for the membership card, truck sticker & keyring, to advertise itself, to purchase consumables (envelopes, printer ink, paper etc) and to fund future Owners Club events (social, on and off road events and other types of event).
To help boost our funds we have Owner Club merchandise for sale - Extra Mugs, Polo & Sweatshirts.
It's up to the members - tell me what you want and I'll try to come up with the goods
